I was raised in a family-owned blacksmithing shop backed up to a river in a small town in Montana. We built custom-made fireplace inserts and stoves ...much different than what you find mass-produced and generic-looking these days. These were beautiful functional pieces of art that were also insanely functional. People loved them. Our family business grew wildly, all from word of mouth.
40 years later I’m the principal owner of two large national fireplace door manufacturing companies: Ironhaus and Portland Willamette. Ironhaus was built from the ground up with the blacksmithing roots I had and PW is a 70-year-old company with more refined sensibilities. All of these products are products made with many customizable options.
Ironhaus Home is a revisitation of our past when we custom made high functioning art for people's homes: things you will not find in a store. These offerings are handcrafted and custom-made specifically to stand out. Ironhaus Home is where we take a break from “standard”: you won’t find many of these things anywhere else but here. Our 35,000 square foot facility has 2 Mazak CNC lasers, powder coating, wet paint and electroplating facilities, full metal fabrication and welding shop, and state-of-the-art packaging systems.
